Objective

As organizations embrace the notions of empowerment and team building, they must also stress the need for better leadership. Some individuals need a structured, controlled environment with continuous feedback to feel secure and to be productive. Others need a flexible, open, creative environment with little or no supervision. Successful leaders recognize these differences in themselves and others and then learn to adjust to optimize the performance of all individual.

This course will train delegates in all the principles of Leadership Development and the implementation requirements of the employees' performance.

Content

SALINA has designed activity to help participants learn about the many roadblocks inherent in the communication process, and exercise to demonstrate flexibility that are required in planning time.

Also, participants will be able to use coaching tools and learn how to tell the most difficult truths in a way that leaves coachees looking forward to being coaches again, and discover a new approach to delegation by utilizing learning theory to teach managers how to improve their delegation success rates.

Then, participants will learn how to hear first-hand the initial questions, issues, and concerns that exist in the team's mind and gives the leader the opportunity to talk about his/her business philosophy, and practice activity intended to set the stage for a leadership training intervention. In addition, interactive exercise will allow participants to observe various leader styles and provide feedback about their effectiveness, and to manage self-directed work team.

Finally, participants will learn how facilitative leader helps the team develop a common vision, set goals, and make its own decisions, and practice a wide variety and large quantity of scenarios that occur between employees and managers.
